STS9’s latest album, ‘The New Orleans MAKE IT RIGHT Remixes’, hot off the griddle this morning has me hyphy.  This 30 track compilation features remixes of STS9’s 2008 ‘Peaceblaster’ album by the likes of Pretty Lights, The Glitch Mob, Lazer Sword, Pnuma Trio, Alex B, Dark Party (aka Elliott Lipp and Leo123), Ott, Telepath, and Ronald Jenkee’s to name a few.  Please take a moment to wipe the drool off your bottom lip and download this album. 

All proceeds from this album support continued efforts to rebuild New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina which devastated the Gulf of Mexico in August of 2005.  Four very short years later there is still much work to be done in these regions.  It’s refreshing to see a band of STS9’s caliber taking the time and effort to make a difference.  Not sure there is an easier way to donate to the cause, but if philanthropic efforts aren’t your flavor you get thirty songs in return…not a bad deal if you ask me.
